A special grand jury indictment has been submitted Thursday in Trumbull County Court against three suspects connected to a Warren arson that claimed the life of 16-year-old Chassidy Broadstone.

Broadstone died in a Nevada Avenue house fire on January 19, police arrested Brendan Daviduk and Patricia Zarlingo in connection to the arson on February 5.

U.S. Marshals arrested a third suspect, Zachary Gurd, on Friday, February 3 after he fled to Richmond, Virginia.

Daviduk, Zarlingo and Gurd have all been indicted on two counts of aggravated murder with specification of aggravating circumstances, two counts of attempted aggravated murder, aggravated arson, aggravated burglary and tampering with evidence.

According to police, surveillance footage from the home showed two suspects in the garage of the home, and seen in a door that leads inside to the home. A third suspect carrying a gas can and wearing a hooded sweatshirt was also captured by security footage.

A court affidavit states that an informant told police the three suspects allegedly went to the Nevada home to "piss off" James Stein, the boyfriend of Broadstone's mother, who has a child with Zarlingo.

Gurd is awaiting extradition from Virginia.

Indictments were handed down earlier this week in Trumbull County Court.

Daviduk and Zarlingo will be arraigned on Friday.
