Niles woman convicted of distributing matter harmful to juveniles
A Niles woman who spent some time in jail after being accused of sending pictures of nude teens to a Warren woman, has pleaded guilty to one felony count.
Kaylee Mae Devlin, 18, as originally charged with pandering obscenity involving minors in November.
On Tuesday, she appeared before a judge in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court and agreed to forgo the indictment process, pleading guilty to what's known as a bill of information. Devlin will be sentenced at a later date.
The charge was filed after a 40-year-old woman told Warren police that Devlin had been sending her harassing messages over Facebook Messenger. The woman claimed that Devlin used to date her nephew and allegedly had a bad breakup.
According to a police report, Devlin also sent the woman pictures of nude juveniles. The report identifies the alleged victims as two 16-year-old girls from Warren.
