Rep. Bill Johnson stops in Valley to discuss women's healthcare

Congressman Bill Johnson stopped in the Mahoning Valley Thursday to talk about the importance of women's health, especially women who are pregnant.
From prenatal care and vitamins to caring for littles ones, it's not always easy.
Congressman Johnson met with Mahoning Valley Pathways HUB to discuss paternal health programs in the county.
Johnson talked with HUB to make sure expecting mothers and families throughout the community get the necessary support they need.
"Women's health, particularly maternal health is a big, big issue. My mom was a single mom. We need to do all that we can to make sure expecting mothers, newborns, and starting-off families get the healthcare they need," Congressman Johnson said.
Johnson and HUB also discussed which areas in the Valley's healthcare are lacking, and how the health department can work to address them.
