Raiders honored at Eastwood Mall by Cafaro Foundation

The state champion South Range football team was honored by the Cafaro Foundation for winning the Division V Championship last month.
"Its still awesome and so exciting and we're so thankful top the Cafaro Family for inviting us here and recognizing us." said head coach Dan Yeagley.
The Raiders are the first area team to finish a season 16-0 and are the sixth team from Mahoning County to win a state football championship.
"It means a lot for someone in the community to honor us and we're grateful," said senior Shane Lindstrom.
"It's really a big deal to have a high standard family in Youngstown as they do to honor us," said quarterback Billy Skripac.
As part of the celebration, the Cafaro Foundation donated $10,000 to the school district.
'A lot of this will lend itself to the state championship rings that every player and coach will receive," said athletic director Don Feren.
"Everyone is so excited about the program and what these young men did and we're looking forward to what the future brings," said Yeagley.
The Cafaro Foundation honored the Hickory girls golf team earlier this week and the Canfield football program in December.
