A Brookfield man was pronounced deceased after an early morning crash in Vernon Township.

According to a press release, OSP responded to an accident on State Route 88 west of Orangeville Kinsman Road in Vernon Township at 2:45 a.m.

Troopers say the victim, identified as 23-year-old Justin Mosora of Brookfield was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Blazer westbound when he drove off the right side of the roadway into a ditch and overturned.

According to troopers, Mosora was not wearing his seatbelt at the time and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Trumbull County Sheriff's Department and the Vernon and Johnston Township Fire Departments assisted at the scene. The crash is currently under investigation.
