Looking to go out on New Year's Eve? Here's some events in the Valley
New Year's Eve is fast approaching, and if you're looking for something special to do to ring in the new year, 21 News has compiled a list of some events going on in the Valley.
The events can be found below:
- Double Bogey's New Year's Eve Party: (7401, Market Street, Boardman) 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. $25 buffet if purchased in advance, $30 the day of. The dinner buffet will be served until 11:00 p.m. A breakfast buffet will be served after midnight. There will be a complementary champagne toast at midnight.
- Opening Night in Warren: After a 20-year absence, the Rotary Club of Warren is officially bringing back Opening Night. This family-centered event will offer a taste of the city and all it has to offer. The party begins on December 31 at 7:00 p.m. and wraps up with fireworks at 10:00 p.m.
- Penguin City Beer New Year's Eve party: (460, East Federal St., Youngstown) 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Live music from Del Sinchak at 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. You can purchase tickets at the door if you didn't purchase them online already. At 10:00 p.m., there will be a balloon driop followed by DJ Spruce taking over until 1:00 a.m. There will be another balloon drop at midnight with downtown fireworks. Of course, there will be champagne available to toast to the new year.
- Steel Valley Brew Works New Year's Eve party: (7401, Market Street, Boardman) 7:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. $10 cover charge. The event will feature live music from RDNA with a champagne toast at midnight. The event will be dress code enforced, according to Steel Valley's Facebook page, the event is described as business causal and guests who show up in sweatpants and a t-shirt will be denied entry.
- El Vallarta New Year's Eve Party: (1984, Boardman-Poland Road, Poland) Event starts at 9:00 p.m. Guests are asked to come dressed in elegant black and white attire.
- Rhymin in the New Year at Birdfish Brewing Co.: (140 East Park Avenue, Columbiana) 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Featuring local hip hop acts, Grizzzly out of Youngstown and Red Rose Panic out of Akron. The show is free. After the show, Homestead K&C will be hosting an old-school hip hop dance party from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. featuring DJ Blaze.
