One of the ten men indicted in a human trafficking sting is going to prison for a year.
Brian Rogers, 60, of Atwater, Ohio, was sentenced Tuesday in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court after pleading guilty earlier to compelling prostitution and attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
Rogers was one of ten men arrested this summer during a two-month-long sting operation targeting alleged predators going online to arrange sexual activity with children.
Sheriff Jerry Greene announced in August that 34 people had been arrested by the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Taskforce during an effort known as Operation Full Court Press.
The investigation involved federal, state, and local agencies posing as underaged individuals.
