Christmas is less than a week away, with families across the Mahoning Valley getting into the Christmas spirit. And what better way to do that than a light show? 21 News has compiled some places you can visit to see festive displays.

If you're looking for community events, multiple Valley communities have you covered, including Columbiana's "Joy of Christmas" light display running until December 31 at Firestone Park from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Joy of Christmas is more than just a Christmas light drive-through experience. Depending on which night you go, there are various events you can partake in.

These events include Christmas cookies, hot chocolate, and other food available for purchase in the gingerbread house, along with pictures with Santa in the Ice Castle from now until December 23.

From Christmas Day until December 31, you can visit the Ice Castle and meet with the snow princesses and Mrs. Claus for a storytime event in the gingerbread house.

Tickets are $20 per car, $3 per person in passenger vans and motor coach buses, and $40 for a season pass while supplies last.

Boardman Park has its light show going on, and if you aren't able to get out and see the "Joy of Christmas" display, don't worry because this one is going on even longer, lasting from now until January 8.

This event is free for all ages and will be on display nightly from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Folks can tune their radios to 88.9 FM for some Christmas music synchronized with the display to listen to along the way.

Do you want to kill two birds with one stone, look at Christmas lights, and get your car washed? Rogue Wave Auto Wash in Boardman has you covered.

On December 21, 22, and 23, Rogue Wave Auto Wash on Boardman-Canfield Road will be hosting its "Winter Wonderland Car Wash" from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with 25% of the proceeds going to St. Jude's Regional Hospital for Cancer research.

You can admire all the lights and inflatables as you get your car washed, and there will be special appearances from the Grinch and Santa Claus himself passing out cookies and hot chocolate.

If you're looking for even more displays, you may find some in your neighborhood, with multiple Valley residents decking their homes with lights to entertain passersby.

For example, if you take a cruise down My Way Drive in Canfield, you can see one home decked out with Christmas lights.

Children aged 12 and under who feel creative can get their own light-up creations chosen for display.

According to Canfield Christmas Lights LLC's Facebook page, kids can draw and design their own piece for the display and submit it through Facebook, with the top two with the most votes being used in next year's display.

If you're still wanting more after that, Canfield Christmas Lights LLC has published a list of other houses across the region that have their own over-the-top, often animated displays.
