A Newton Falls man is facing charges after allegedly hitting a child with an object.

According to the criminal complaint, 29-year-old Kyle McElravy has been charged with endangering children and domestic violence.

The complaint says McElravy allegedly struck a family member, specifically a child, in the head repeatedly with an object.

The prosecutor cited knowledge from a reliable informant and a video recording of the incident in the complaint.

Court documents say the alleged incident happened on August 14.

His wife, Amber McElravy, was arrested in September after a viral video surfaced on social media that allegedly showed her abusing her five-year-old son.

She was also charged with child endangering.
