With Thanksgiving just over three weeks away, a Valley organization that helps others has put out a call for turkey donations.

The Warren Family Mission says it needs people to donate turkeys and other food for fixings by November 18.

The food will be served at the mission’s free community Thanksgiving Dinner that will be held on Wednesday, November 23 from noon to 3 p.m. at the mission’s Outreach Center, 155 Tod Ave. NW, Warren.

In addition to frozen turkeys, the mission is accepting donations of stuffing, butter, milk, instant mashed potatoes, jarred gravy, canned corn, cheese, pies, cookies and Hawaiian rolls.

Donations can be dropped off at the Outreach Center Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
