Texas-based retailer, JCPenney is looking to hire nearly 22,000 team members nationwide during a national hiring event with multiple store locations right here in the Mahoning and Shenango Valley taking part.

There are dozens of openings across four different stores throughout the Valley with each one looking to hire a specific amount of new employees for the holidays.

These locations include Austintown (6000, Mahoning Avenue), Boardman (Inside the Southern Park Mall), Niles (Inside the Eastwood Mall) and Hermitage (Inside the Shenango Valley Mall).

The Austintown Location is looking to hire 15 new team members, the Boardman location is looking to hire 50, Niles is looking to hire 35 and Hermitage is looking to hire 40.
