Valley law enforcement agencies have previously offered tips to prevent your vehicle from being broken into or even stolen.
Firstly, police recommend you make sure you have all your valuables hidden or removed from your vehicle entirely. Police also urge motorists to lock their doors.
Additionally, to prevent the theft of your vehicle, police suggest installing a column lock or other disabling device to prevent thieves from driving off in your vehicle.
If your vehicle is parked at your home, it's recommended to have working lights around your house, as well as security cameras to clearly identify suspects.
