Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after an alleged threat was made toward Mohawk High School.

According to the police report, the threat was made Friday afternoon.

State police were made aware of the threat through a "Safe2SaySomething" call.

Safe2SaySomething is a youth violence prevention program run by the state's attorney general office. It teaches people how to recognize the warning signs and signals from people who may be a threat to themselves or others.

The program allows for anonymous tips to be reported through the Safe2SaySomething system for crisis center reviews and all submissions are sent to school administrators and law enforcement for intervention.

Through that tip, state police conducted an investigation into a known juvenile.

According to the report, there was no immediate threat to any student or staff member at that time.

The investigation is ongoing.
