Columbiana County deputy placed on paid leave after allegations surface

According to a letter sent by County Sheriff, Brian McLaughlin, investigation revealed policy violations including a violation of ethics section 4.3 along with other policy violations.

A Columbiana County Sheriff's Deputy has been placed on paid administrative leave until further notice in response to allegations.

According to a letter sent by County Sheriff, Brian McLaughlin, Sheriff's Deputy Steve Walker has been placed on paid administrative leave in response to allegations from September 7, 2022.

According to the letter, investigation revealed policy violations including a violation of ethics section 4.3 along with other policy violations.

No specifics about any of the violations were given in the letter.
