The 176th year of the Canfield Fair is well underway with lots of events planned through Labor Day, Monday, September 5.

There's live music, food, rides, animals, the world's largest Demolition Derby, and the Championship Truck and Tractor Pull.

Country singer Sam Hunt will perform in the grandstand on September 4 at 7 p.m., and Creedence Clearwater Revival singer John Fogerty will perform on September 5 at 7 p.m.

Tickets for all grandstand events can be purchased in advance through Ticketmaster, but tickets can also be purchased at the box office located in front of the Grandstand.

Visit the 21 WFMJ/WBCB tent to meet the morning, night, and weekend anchors, win free stuff, get a tote bag and help support Second Harvest Food Bank. The tent will be located outside the Grandstand. Anchors will be available at different times throughout the week.

To get the Canfield Fair forecast, download the Storm Tracker 21 app, check the website or watch on air.

The gates are open every day at 8 a.m., but rides will not begin until 11 a.m. Vendors and rides will close down between 10 and 11 p.m. each evening.

A 'ride all day' band or individual ride tickets are required for ride access, regardless of age. These cost $25 on Wednesday and Thursday and $30 Friday through Monday.

Parking is free, and in some locations, a shuttle will be available to and from parking areas.

Two 40-passenger coach buses will make continuous loops from the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center to Gate 5. This bus will only be available Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from noon to midnight. Electronic signs will be posted on Route 224 to direct traffic to MCCTC.

Guided Senior Shuttles will be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday.

Scooters and wheelchairs are available for rent. Contact the Fair Office at 330-533-4107, and a team member can help arrange a rental.
