The Brookfield Police Department has had enough of a group of ATV riders that they say have been causing trouble in the community.

According to a Tuesday Facebook post, residents living near Addison Avenue might be familiar with the group. Police say they have been driving ATVs recklessly through traffic, on highways, destroying yards, and running from police.

A warrant was issued on Friday for one of the suspected drivers, 20-year-old Emodja Ivy. Police say that the warrant follows Ivy running from police on an ATV and then crashing.

The post says that following Ivy's crash, other members of the group continued to drive the wrong way on Route 62 without their headlights on.

Court records show Ivy has several pending cases, dating back to August 2021.

Brookfield Police say that they have confiscated several ATVs so far and will continue to do so and charge the responsible individuals until the problem is solved.

The post also notes that police were able to get a clear video of another suspect, and they will issue more warrants this week.
