The campaign trail of Republican Ohio U.S. Senate candidate JD Vance includes a stop in Columbiana County on Monday.

Campaign officials say Vance will participate in what’s being billed as an Ohio energy tour with a stop in Salineville.

Vance will speak with reporters along with Congressman Bill Johnson and Adrienne Robbins, Spokesperson for the Utica Energy Alliance.

This afternoon Vance and Johnson will hold a town hall with the Utica Energy Alliance members.

According to its website, the Utica Energy Alliance is an advocate for the shale industry, landowners, businesses, and community leaders associated with the industry.

Vance faces Democrat Rep. Tim Ryan in November.
