A man convicted of playing a role in a shooting death in Warren was sentenced in a Trumbull County court Wednesday.

Stefon Alexander, 36, plead guilty in May to involuntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence.

He was initially charged with aggravated murder in connection to the shooting death of 25-year-old Delquan Ware in August of 2020. Ware was shot while driving on Summit Street NW.

Alexander will spend the next 19 to 24 and a half years in prison for his crimes.

Another man that played a role in the same incident, 36-year-old Cameron Tillis, was sentenced in June to 31 years behind bars.
