A Warren man has been indicted after allegedly seriously injuring a Walmart employee in Bazetta.

Omar Williams, 27, was indicted by the Trumbull County Grand Jury Tuesday.

Williams was arrested in May after allegedly assaulting a female Walmart employee and his girlfriend.

The incident began when Williams allegedly choked and slapped his girlfriend before she went into the store.

Police said the girlfriend went to the female employee and asked her for help before Williams walked into the store and began chasing them.

According to the report, Williams caught up to the employee and stiff-armed her into a metal display rack.

The employee had severe injuries because of the attack, including a broken neck in three places and a lacerated liver.

Williams then left in his girlfriend's car before being caught by Warren Township Police.

He faces charges of aggravated robbery, felonious assault, abduction, disrupting public services and domestic violence.
