Hubbard manufacturing company to relocate headquarters to Ravenna
Industrial Commercial Properties (ICP) has announced on Wednesday that Boston Group will be relocating its headquarters and manufacturing operations from Hubbard to Ravenna.
ICP Vice President of Leasing and Acquisitions, Austin Semarjian says this move will bring important new jobs to Ohio and the city of Ravenna.
"Our goal is to provide real estate solutions for companies and bring new life to properties. We are happy to do so with Boston Group," Semarjian said.
Boston Group President and CEO, Russell Rubin (pictured above) said in a statement that the move should not affect the employment status of any of the 30 people employed at the Hubbard facility.
"We value our people, and our intention in relocating from day one was to find a site close to Hubbard to keep and retain our existing team as much as possible," Rubin said.
Rubin added that based on the company's business forecast, the company plans to increase its headcount to 75 in less than two years.
Boston Group designs and manufactures custom metal and plastic retail displays, fixtures and display protection items for retail stores, hospitals and pharmacies.
"Everything we do, we strive to create value for our customers with smart solutions that are expertly manufactured. From our new manufacturing location, our team will use their vast experience to integrate all our varied capabilities to bring real life solutions that address a variety of needs," Rubin said.
