Youngstown Police are investigating a threat made via email to Youngstown City Council. 

21 News spoke with Council President, Thomas Hetrick, who confirmed that there was a threat made via email Friday morning and it has been turned over to YPD for investigation.

The suspect wrote in his email that he planned to take an AR-15 and "hunt down as many council members [he] possibly can."

The suspect singled out Hetrick, as well as 7th Ward Councilwoman, Basia Adamczak and listed both of their home addresses. The email ended with the message, "Who knows what I'll do. Either way, prepare yourselves."
