Soon there will be more baby formula available in the U.S., thanks to Delta Airlines.

Delta will be transporting more than 212,00 pounds of Kendamil infant formula from London to the U.S. between June 20 and June 24.

The formula will be made available for sale at national retailers as well as online.

Kendamil brand will be exporting up to 2 million cans of Kendamil to the U.S. as part of Operation Fly Formula, which was launched by President Biden to help with formula shortages caused after the  Abbott Nutrition plant in Michigan that was shut down in February of contamination concerns. The facility began production again on June 4.

So far five previous Operation Fly Formula have taken place, bringing approved baby formulas from overseas to the U.S.

Also, the Food and Drug Administration announced today that Abbott Spain with begin supplying the US with 1.1 million pounds, or 686,530 cans of Similac Total Comfort Stage 1, Similac Total Comfort and Similac NeoSure products.
