Mercer County man charged after kids found wandering in mobile home park
Neighbors reported seeing a two-year-old boy, and a 4-year-old girl wandering alone in the West Forrest mobile home park
A Mercer County man has been charged after police say they found two unsupervised toddlers wandering around a mobile home park.
As of early Wednesday, 30-year-old Nathan Anderson remained held in the county jail on $5,000 bond, following his arraignment on Tuesday on two counts of child endangering.
According to State police, neighbors reported seeing a two-year-old boy, and a 4-year-old girl wandering alone in the West Forrest mobile home park on West Market Street in Lackawannock Township earlier this month.
Police say the children were playing in a runoff water ditch along the roadside. Neighbors told investigators that it’s common to see the children by themselves.
Another court hearing is scheduled for Anderson on June 16.
