Youngstown fire crews battled black smoke billowing from a WRTA bus garage on Mahoning Avenue in Youngstown Sunday morning.

Fire officials tell 21 News that there were 30 buses inside the garage, but thanks to fire crews on scene and the garage's sprinkler system, the fire was contained to just one bus.

The fire broke out at approximately 9:45 a.m. and it was contained by approximately 10:15 a.m.

WRTA staff is clearing soot and airing out the rest of the buses. The extent of the damages done to the buses and the garage is unknown at this time.

The Ohio Fire Marshall's Office will be at the scene on Monday to determine the cause of the fire.
