Boardman police are investigating after they say a customer at a grocery store used fake money to buy a lottery ticked -- and won real money.
Officers were called to the Giant Eagle in Boardman for a fraud report.
Employees told police a regular customer used $100 bills of play money to buy cigarettes, get change, and buy a winning $100 dollar lottery ticket.
Police noted the fake bills were marked "United States Play Money."
Police do have a suspect for the crimes thanks to store security cameras.
