Students in the Crestview Local School District are being sent home early Friday because of a power outage.

School officials posted an alert on their website announcing that because of the outage, the schools have no water or sewer service.

FirstEnergy reported more than 50 customers without power in Fairfield Township as of 10:15 a.m. due to equipment damage.  Electricity is expected to be restored before noon.

The buses are running according to the message.

Grades 5-12 students will be dismissed at 11. The kitchen is not operating, and they will not be serving lunch.

The Elementary School does have food service. Students will eat before they are dismissed at noon.

Parents picking up children should just drive up to the school and don’t have to line up.
