As the tragic situation at the Lowellville school campus unfolded, a woman was arrested while waiting for students to be released.

31-year-old Jessica Wolfe was booked into the Mahoning County Jail after allegedly bringing a gun with her to the school.

Her arrest followed a tragic incident where a student shot himself in the school cafeteria shortly after an active shooter drill.

She was taken into custody by the Mahoning County Sheriff's Office.

Wolfe is facing a charge of illegal conveyance of a weapon on school grounds.

She is set to appear in court Friday morning.
