Sean O'Brien has secured his position as Trumbull County Common Pleas Judge, beating his opponent Dawn Cantalamessa.

Cantalamessa has had a long history in the courtroom serving as an assistant prosecutor since early 2001.

She served as Assistant Prosecutor in the Mahoning County Prosecutor's Office until August of 2021. Since then, she became Assistant County Prosecutor for the Ashtabula County Prosecutor's Office.
 

O'Brien also served as a prosecutor, before moving into the Ohio House of Representatives in 2011, followed by moving into the Ohio Senate in 2017
