A special law enforcement unit consisting of members from several Lawrence County police departments is displaying drugs, cash, and a weapon seized during the search of a home in New Castle.

According to New Castle Police, members of the Lawrence County Special Operations Unit found fifteen Pitbulls when they raided the house at 1911 Hamilton Street on Tuesday.

Police say they also found 149 grams of suspected heroin or fentanyl, two bags of crack cocaine, marijuana, a 9mm handgun with three loaded magazines, digital weighing scales, and $543.

Officers arrested Lionell Edwards, Kierre Chambers, and Victor Brown on charges of possession with intent to deliver heroin or fentanyl, possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Edwards and Brown are also accused of being felons in possession of firearms.
