Two young Warren women get into alleged brawl at Eastwood Mall over a man
Officers said a 20-year-old Warren woman started an alleged Friday night brawl at the Eastwood Mall, and Niles Police believe it was all over a man both girls had romantic interest in.
According to the police report, 20-year old Arnaja Stambolia fought another young woman outside of a Macy's department store, Niles Police said.
The victim told police that her and Ms. Stambolia had fought over a shared significant other in the past. Police said the victim walked out of the Eastwood Mall Footlocker store when Ms. Stambolia saw her. The two reportedly had an argument before Ms. Stambolia ran at and began attacking the victim.
Ms. Stambolia was banned from the Eastwood Mall and was asked to leave the property.
More Niles police units were sent back to the mall after the two both reportedly got back into it in the parking lot outside of Dillard's, but the alleged incident calmed down afterwards, officers said.
The victim is allowed to return to the Eastwood Mall, according to police.
21 News spoke with the Niles Police Captain John Marshall who said it would be up to the Trumbull County Proscutor's Office if charges may be filed in the incident.
