Near the end of March, 21 News reported on an incident in which a pit bull in Newton Falls attacked a local woman's 12-year-old Pomeranian mix. Now, Newton Falls Police say they've received yet another complaint about this same pit bull on Tuesday.

According to Newton Falls Police, the pit bull, owned by 42-year-old William Dempsey grabbed a woman's dog by the neck and dragged it into the woods.

According to a GoFundMe page, the woman's dog, Ava had passed away as a result of the attack.

The woman told police this was not the first time she's witnessed Dempsey's dog acting like this.

When police located the dog with Dempsey, they had asked him to put the dog in his car, which Dempsey refused to do, telling police he does not trust the dog around his children who were in the car at the time.

Dempsey told police he had scheduled to get the dog euthanized Monday, April 18 because he doesn't trust it around his kids. Dempsey was charged with ORD Code 505.01 Dogs Running at Large.

The woman who called police was not the same woman from the previous case.
