WARREN, Ohio - The Warren Family Mission is doing there part to make sure no one goes hungry on Good Friday.

The community Easter meal took place Friday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at their location at 155 Tod Ave NW in Warren.

A total of 2,610 meals were given out on Friday.
514 people ate inside the church.
612 meals were taken to go. 
1,452 meals were delivered to people in the community. 

In total over 250 hams were cooked, 100 pounds of spaghetti, 25 gallons of pineapple sauce and stuffing were needed to serve the community. 

Meals were served in person for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic began.

Over 300 Easter baskets were given out to children at the family dinner and the Easter bunny was even in attendance. 

"To be able to have a holiday community meal here that brings the community together is something special. These are traditions that people have been missing out on for two years," said Dominic Mararri, The Public Relations Director for the mission.
