Woman arrested in Braceville with nine pounds of cocaine sentenced
A Chicago woman arrested in Braceville Township in June of 2020 after being caught with nine pounds of cocaine was sentenced on Tuesday.
32-year-old Tashe Goins was sentenced to 46 months in prison on one count of Possession and Intent to Distribute Controlled Substances.
The court recommended Goins to be placed at the nearest facility to Chicago as possible so she could be as close as possible to her children, receive a mental health evaluation and treatment as appropriate and participate in any trades program offered.
Following her prison sentence, Goins was sentenced to four years on supervised release with mandatory conditions, standard conditions and special conditions including substance abuse testing, mental health treatment and search/seizure.
