Newton Falls Council hires new leaders for city
Council voted unanimously to hire Robert Heydorn as the city's new Law Director, as well as Michael Acomb as a new Council Clerk.

Newton Falls City Council has officially hired new leadership for the city.
Council voted unanimously to hire Robert Heydorn as the city's new Law Director, as well as Michael Acomb as a new Council Clerk. Acomb is on a 90-day contract and will be working part time.
Additionally, the city voted to hire Christopher Crull as the city's new prosecutor.
Heydorn will be replacing the city's previous Law Director, Joseph Fritz, who was fired by council in late 2021, and Acomb will be replace former Council Clerk, Kathleen King, who was also fired.
