Youngstown Works hosting hiring event Tuesday

Youngstown Works will host a free hiring event to connect job seekers with local employers.
The hiring event will be set up in Stambaugh Auditorium on Tuesday, March 29 from 10 a.m. - to 3 p.m.
Youngstown Works says, "Nearly 70 vendors, including area businesses, local universities, workforce development, and training organizations will be on hand to speak with attendees. They represent the areas of manufacturing, technology, health care, and the service industry."
The event is open to anyone from seniors in high school to senior-aged adults.
Participants are encouraged to bring a resume to the event but it is not required.
Opportunities to interview with select employers will be available.
"Our goal is to bring local employers and residents together in one location, which will ultimately benefit everyone involved," said Gerri Jenkins, executive director of MyPath Mahoning Valley. "We have many companies searching for workers and many people looking for work. It's a great chance for people looking to join or return to the workforce or learn about educational opportunities that are available to them."
