Fire forces Youngstown man to flee South Side home
The Red Cross has been contacted to help find shelter and other needs for a Youngstown man forced out of his home by a fire.

The Red Cross has been contacted to help find shelter and other needs for a Youngstown man forced out of his home by a fire.
The fire was reported shortly after 6 a.m. Monday at a home on the 600 block of Cohasset Drive.
The first firefighters to arrive spotted flames coming from the roof of the home.
A 63-year-old man living at the home was awakened by a smoke alarm. He grabbed what belongings he could and managed to escape unharmed.
Investigators are looking for the cause of the fire. The resident told police he kept computers and space heaters in the attic where the fire broke out.
