A local Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatcher has been named 2021 Dispatcher of the Year by the state of Ohio.

Dispatcher, Kathryn L. Kringeta of OSP's Warren post was selected from 10 District Dispatcher of the Year recipients from across the state. She was selected based on her calm demeanor, positive attitude and commitment to service.

Kringeta is recognized for her positive attitude, loyalty to her division and her enthusiasm and knowledge of her position. She's also been praised for her teamwork.

Kringeta joined OSP in May of 2014, and was assigned to the Warren Dispatch Center. In 2019, Kringeta was selected as Post Dispatcher of the Year.

Kringeta received a certificate in computer forensics in 2010, as well as a bachelor's degree in justice studies at Kent State University the following year.
