Sentencing came Friday for a Youngstown man who pleaded guilty to charges related to causing the death of an unborn baby during a police chase.

In January, Damon Cobb, 26, pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide, vehicular assault, and failure to comply with the order of a Police Officer.

He has now been sentenced to 8-and-a-half to nine years in prison.

According to an indictment, Cobb was involved in a pursuit with Youngstown Police on May 27th of last year.

That chase resulted in a crash injuring Katrina Betts and causing her pregnancy to be terminated.

According to the indictment, Betts had no driver's license at the time of the chase.
