The Ohio Department of Transportation is warning drivers to stay off roadways if possible while the winter storm moves through the Valley.

ODOT had one of their trucks tip over due to the icy conditions Thursday morning while working to salt State Route 164.

They say the driver was moving slowly while salting but still slid off the road and flipped.

ODOT says it does not matter what car you're driving, you can still hit a slick spot and lose control.

The driver of the plow truck was not injured.
