Canfield restaurant to close permanently due to staffing issues

A Canfield restaurant has announced on Tuesday that it will be closing its doors permanently due to staffing issues.
Scacchetti's Ironwood Grille in Canfield made the decision to close permanently after originally only planning to temporarily close for the month of January.
In a post on the restaurant's official Facebook page, restaurant owners say they've spent months trying to find ample kitchen staff, stating that the restaurant's executive chef and sous-chef cannot physically continue to serve the large amount of business the restaurant has generated by themselves.
"It is a distressing time in our country when a very successful business must close its doors because people choose not to work," the post said.
Scachetti's has been advertising open staff positions on its Facebook page throughout 2021. Applications for kitchen staff were also reportedly available at the neighboring Hampton Inn & Suites throughout January 2022.
