Curse the cold weather if you like. However, it’s a blessing for folks to like to ice skate.

Skating is scheduled to return to Buhl Park’s Lake Julia in Hermitage this weekend.

According to the park’s Facebook page, open skating will be permitted from Friday, January 28, 2022 through Sunday, January 30, 2022, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Since rentals are not available, those taking part must bring their own skates.

Park officials will limit the number of skaters on the ice at one time based on the thickness of the ice.

The skating area will be closed if too much snow accumulates on the ice.
