With a 59-53 win over visiting Robert Morris Saturday, the Youngstown State women's basketball team remained atop the Horizon League standings and unbeaten in conference play. 

The "W" sends YSU to a perfect 8-0 in the Horizon League, the first time in school history the Penguins haven't lost in league play through eight games. 

Overall, YSU sits with a record of 14-1, the third time in school history the Penguins have started 14-1 or better through 15 games of play. 

Lilly Ritz paced the Penguins offensively scoring a game-high 17 points, missing just four of her 12 field goal attempts. 

Chelsea Olson scored 15 while Megan Callahan added 12 points, six of which came via 3-pointers. 

The Penguins scored 23 points off turnovers in the win and shot 22-50 overall from the field. 

Horizon League play continues for Youngstown State Friday, Jan. 14 against UIC. It'll be the second of three straight home games for the Penguins, as they'll host IUPUI Sunday, Jan. 16 at 1:00 p.m.
