Murray State hopes to join MVFC !!

All sports except football and rifle have joined the Missouri Valley Conference

Youngstown State could have a new opponent in the Missouri Valley Football Conference down the road.

Murray State will join the Missouri Valley Conference later this year and be the 11th school in the league.

School officials are talking with the Missouri Valley Football Conference about becoming the 12th school in the league.

Youngstown State competes in that league for football.

The MVFC expanded to 11 teams in 2020 when North Dakota joined.

The Penguins last played Murray State in 1987 and are 2-6 lifetime against the Racers.,
