The suspect of a homicide at an apartment on Tyrell Avenue that took place on the morning of Monday, Dec. 27 was arrested by Youngstown Police on Thursday.

Suspect, Marquez Thomas (24) is accused of shooting and killing Joseph Addison (42) and wounding three others in a Tyrell Avenue apartment early Monday morning.

On Thursday, Detectives and Crime Scene personnel from Youngstown Police Department, supported by the Youngstown Police Patrol Division and members of the Mahoning County Crisis Response Team conducted simultaneous search warrants on Glenellen Avenue and Tyrell Avenue in Youngstown.

Evidence was collected and subsequent to the execution of the search warrants, Detectives arrested Thomas with charges of Aggravated Murder and three counts of Felonious Assault.

Thomas is scheduled to be arraigned in the Youngstown Municipal Court on Monday, Jan. 3
