Power outages being reported in Valley as strong winds hit area
As strong winds move through the Mahoning Valley, some areas are experiencing power outages.
The majority of the cases are in Trumbull County where 2,444 outages have been reported.
According to FirstEnergy's outage map, Warren has the most outages with 976.
Other Trumbull County areas with outages are Howland (441), Liberty (266), Warren Township (165), Newton Township (193) and Brookfield Township (82).
1,116 outages are being reported in Columbiana County as well.
Most of the outages are in Leetonia where 870 have been reported. Another 89 have been reported in Salem.
Mahoning County has 195 outages with 146 of them in Youngstown.
Western Pennsylvania is also experiencing outages in both Lawrence and Mercer County.
Sharon is the hardest hit in Mercer County with 856 outages out of the 1,154 reported. Lawrence County is reporting 1,649 outages with most of them being in New Castle and Shenango Township.
Restoration times are not listed due to the severe weather in the area.
