Camp Frederick to host first Christmas festival

Admission to the event will be $10 per car. Warm clothing and comfortable boots or shoes are recommended as this is an outdoor event.

Camp Frederick (6996, Millrock Rd., Rogers) will be hosting its first-ever Christmas festival on Saturday, Dec. 11 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Youth from the tri-county area will guide guests through the true story of Christmas. There will also be a lighted hiking trail leading to a Christmas village with a gingerbread house, reindeer games, a toy shop and Santa's house. There will also be a live Nativity scene complete with animals.

Cookies, hot chocolate and cider will be sold in the lodge. Camp wear will also be for sale.
