Suspect of 2020 Warren homicide transported back to Ohio after US Marshals arrested him
The suspect of a Warren homicide that occurred in August of 2020 in Renton, Washington was brought back to Ohio and booked into the Trumbull County Jail on Wednesday.
U.S. Marshals arrested suspect Cameron Tillis, 36, after searching for him for 16 months. Tillis was wanted by the Warren Police Department for aggravated murder, having weapons under disability and tampering with evidence. He is now facing charges on all of those counts.
On August 2 of 2020, Tillis along with Stefon Alexander (35) allegedly shot Delquan Ware (25) while he was driving a vehicle on Summit St. NW in Warren. Warrants were issued for Tillis and Alexander's arrests in December of 2020.
Alexander turned himself in shortly after the warrants were issued and is currently in police custody pending charges of aggravated murder with firearm specifications.
In late October, the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) gathered information that Tillis may have fled Ohio and may be located somewhere in the Pacific. Marshals located him in Renton at a home in the 2000 Block of SW Sunset Blvd. just 15 miles outside of Seattle where he was arrested without incident on December 3.
