A semi-truck driver from Colorado and his wife have been overwhelmed by Valley support after their dog ran off at Loves Travel Stop in Hubbard.

Monika McGill says their White Siberian Husky ran off to chase a deer when her husband made a stop in the Valley on November 30th.

She says her husband spent about five hours searching for the dog, but could not stick around any longer. The family turned to social media in hopes that someone would spot the dog and help return him home to Colorado. Her post has now been shared more than 5,000 times.

McGill says her husband will return to the area for another trip and the company he works for has given him an additional 24 hours to search for his companion.

The dog's name is Loki. McGill says Loki is shy and asks that if spotted please don't try to chase him. Anyone with information can call 719-213-9145.
