South Range Local School District has canceled classes for all buildings on Thursday December 2 after a bomb threat was issued for the district.

The school's superintendent said the search for a potential bomb remains unfinished Wednesday and that the incident will continue being investigated Thursday. Parents with students in the district were alerted of the threat via an all-call phone message Wednesday afternoon.

Beaver Police requested a bomb sniffing dog from the Mahoning County Sherriff's Office so they could further investigate the situation.

A message was scratched into a library desk said that a bomb was going off "tomorrow," but Beaver Township Police Chef Carl Frost said the department is unaware of when the message was written.
