Sheriff’s Deputies have filed charges against a Youngstown woman stemming from vandalism at the Trumbull County Courthouse over the weekend.

Joanna McCane, 43, has been charged with vandalism.

The charges were filed in Warren Municipal Court after about a dozen windows were broken at the county court building this past weekend.

According to jail and court records, McCane was booked into the county jail Friday afternoon on charges of obstructing official business and criminal trespassing after she was arrested by Warren Police along North Park Avenue.

She was released from jail just before 2 a.m. Saturday.

Dispatchers were called shortly after 10 a.m. Saturday about the damage to the courthouse.

Several of the windows were broken or had large holes in them.

Workers have since boarded up a couple of windows.

A warrant has been issued for McCane’s arrest.
